Competition For The Courts of Appeal: Two Candidates Confirmed Their Ability to Administer Justice in The Commercial Court of Appeal, and One Candidate – in The Zhytomyr Court of Appeal

On August 06, 2025, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, in plenary session, considered the issue of confirming the ability of two candidates for the position of judge to administer justice in the commercial court of appeal, one candidate in the administrative court of appeal, and one candidate in the Zhytomyr Court of Appeal.

Based on the results of the session, the Commission adopted the following decisions:

Interviews with all candidates in the competition for administrative courts of appeal have been completed: 43 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice in an administrative court of appeal, while 24 candidates did not.

 In total, interviews were conducted with 81 candidates in the competition for the commercial courts of appeal: 57 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice in a commercial court of appeal, 21 candidates did not confirm this, and interviews with 3 candidates will be held at the plenary session of the Commission.

In the competition for the Zhytomyr Court of Appeal, interviews were conducted with 17 candidates: 9 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice in the general court of appeal, 4 candidates did not confirm, and interviews with 4 candidates will be held at the plenary session of the Commission.
